Misha Bear

We've had Misha for just over a week now. She is 10 1/2 weeks old and is absolutely gorgeous. My three daughters who are 18,18 and 16 did lots of research before convincing me that a Newfie was the way to go. We visited different breeders and pups before we settled on Misha,
I think we are all still a bit shell shocked at the amount of work a puppy is, but we are doing quite well I think as a team!
Misha has settled in amazingly well and is a very well behaved baby. We obviously have toilet issues still but that is getting better already as my girls are home with her all day at the moment.
I am a bit concerned with how much she nibbles and bites when she is excited to see you but we are working on that.
The one major issue we have at the moment is our holiday. We booked this last year before we knew we would be getting a puppy. The breeder cannot have her back due to a family crisis and I don't really want to put her in kennels. We are going to cut down our holiday to 7 days and let my mum look after her in our house (she cant be there all day though) so its all a bit of a worry. Any advice would be gratefully received!!
